Legion Rules
1. No Cheating
The Condemned has a no cheating policy. If a member is caught either using an illegal third-party program or in-game exploit, he or she will be removed from legion. In the same way, legion members will not benefit from the cheating of non-guilded players. If you are in a pick-up raid/group and players are exploiting, you are expected to leave or if you are leading the raid/group, to remove the players whom are cheating.
2. No Public Trash Talking
Trash talking by members is not permitted in open channels nor is it permitted in the official forums. If you must talk smack, do it over tells. In the same spirit, we have a no-tolerance policy on drama. Players who consistently cause drama will be removed from the legion.
3. Attendance
Members are required to meet a minimum attendance standard of attending no less than an average of 70% of guild-scheduled events. We do recognize that players will have real-life issues that arise requiring extended absences from the game. Please contact an officer or post in the on-leave section in our forums if such a problem arises.
4. Website and Forum Contribution
Members are required to regularly visit and contribute to the legion website. There will often be important information listed in the "Legion Announcements" section of the forums that members will be required to read and sign. Members may also be required to comment or "bump" threads on the official forums such as a public recruitment thread for example.
5. Ventrilo
Members must have Ventrilo installed/configured with a working microphone. Members must use their in-game name as their Ventrilo username and the phonetic will only contain their name. If members are in-game they are required to be in Ventrilo. During organized PvE and PvP events, there will be a designated member running the event and members will need to know when to be quiet so that individual may provide instruction without interruption.
6. No Sharing Private Strategies or Information
Showing or leaking information from the Members-Only section of the forums or other known legion strategies without permission from Legion leadership will not be tolerated.
7. Legitimate Add-Ons
Members may be required to download specific legitimate add-ons to enhance strategic gameplay. An example of such an add-on would be a target assist program.
8. Siege Defense Requirement
Due to the nature of Aion PvP, we require all members that are online to assist in defending anything owned by us or our allies that is being attacked. If a member refuses to assist in defense of anything owned by the legion that is being attacked will be removed from the legion. If a member does not care to defend what the legion or our allies own, then we feel them unfit to be in the legion itself.
PvP Policy
Mindset
The first and most important thing to mention about The Condemned is that we love PvP! Either as a new recruit or a non-member who wants to understand our PvP policy, the following was written for your benefit. Win or lose, we PvP to have fun and further our enjoyment of the game; not to ruin anyone else's fun. The following sections detail our "rules of engagement" and PvP guidelines. If you feel that a member of The Condemned has violated them, don't hesitate to bring it to the attention of a legion officer.
Ganking
Ganking is killing a single player or smaller force with a larger force. We will gank you and we expect that you will attempt to gank us if you have superior numbers and we can't or chose not to evade you. We look at PvP as warfare, not "honorable dueling". Therefore, bringing superior numbers to a fight is fair game.
Zone Control
One of the things that makes playing on a PvP server more fun, is fighting over valuable spawns and resources. If we want the same spawn or resource that you do, we will fight you for it, and expect you to do the same. For security reasons, we may camp you (see above) until you leave the chunk if we intend to do an encounter in that chunk, and again, we expect you to do the same and will have no hard feelings if you are able to beat us and take the spawn or resource. When we are going for the same spawn or resource, we will attack you even if you are fighting with NPCs, and we won't blame you if you do the same. It is your responsibility and ours to provide adequate PvP defense for our PvE activities on a PvP server.
Exploiting and Hacking
We do not use, condone, or accept the use of third-party programs or exploiting bugs in the game for PvP advantage. We will expel members who do it, and we will actively hunt (see below) others who use them against us. If you feel that any Condemned member is in violation of this policy, please bring it to the immediate attention of a Condemned officer.
Ally, No Kill, KOS, and Actively Hunted Status
If you are an ally to us, it means that we actively work together to achieve PvP and PvE goals in the game. We do not engage allies in non-consensual PvP. If you are on our "no kill" list, it means that we don't actively work together, but we have agreed not to engage each other in PvP. If your guild does not have allied or no-kill status, we will consider you KOS (kill on sight) and attack you when we see you (and expect you to do the same). If your guild is on our Actively Hunted list, it means that we consider you to be "bad actors" in the game for whatever reason and will actively come to where you are to engage you and disrupt whatever you may be doing in game. If you don't feel you deserve to be actively hunted by us, please raise the issue with any Condemned officer. We fully understand that mix-ups and misunderstandings can occur in game. If your guild has Ally or No Kill status with us, and you attack us or we attack you by mistake, we won't hold a grudge, and we hope you don't either. Finish the fight, buff each other back up, and let it go. We really hate in-game drama, and we hope you do too. If a Condemned member repeatedly kills you even after you've made your status known, feel free to bring it to the attention of any Condemned officer.
